So, this weekend Becky will be making up Bloody Mary’s and Mimosa’s. Will keep you all updated to when we have our full bar, and the exact night we start opening in the PM. Sorry no blogs in a long time, business has been hopping- and more help is starting soon, so expect the blogging to resume soon.
Well, the restaurant has taken off, thanks to all the good “word of mouth”…. thankyou, thankyou, the greatest customers and neighbors ever! I’m supposed to get the fireplace fixed next Tuesday, so hopefully there can be “fireplace dining” soon.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! to all of our customers. It is not easy to start a restaurant and God knows (as does our Banker) that it isn’t profitable for a long while. So it means a ton to us to see the comments and reviews that many of you post. Much of the time, one hears the old adage that if you disappoint someone they tell 10 people, but if you do right they might tell 1. Well, that seems to be operating in reverse because really, it is overwhelming to see your support and to feel that you are in our corner.
Have a safe and Happy New Year. We’re open New Year’s Day so come in and chase that hangover away with a Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs. If I get up early enough, I’ll make a bunch up and run ‘em for $4.95. Look for your e-mail secret special alert to find out what we’re having.
The new year will be exciting for us; we have plans to revamp our outside seating with a fountain and some new tables and chairs for the spring & summer months. Soon too, towards the end of January, we will have our liquor license so we will be open at night. We have some great bar apps and some “Amazing Plates” dinner selections.
